Surah Yunus Ayat/verse 24 with Urdu & English Translation - 10:24

اِنَّمَا مَثَلُ الۡحَيٰوةِ الدُّنۡيَا كَمَآءٍ اَنۡزَلۡنٰهُ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ فَاخۡتَلَطَ بِهٖ نَبَاتُ الۡاَرۡضِ مِمَّا يَاۡكُلُ النَّاسُ وَالۡاَنۡعٰمُؕ حَتّٰۤى اِذَاۤ اَخَذَتِ الۡاَرۡضُ زُخۡرُفَهَا وَازَّيَّنَتۡ وَظَنَّ اَهۡلُهَاۤ اَنَّهُمۡ قٰدِرُوۡنَ عَلَيۡهَاۤ  ۙاَتٰٮهَاۤ اَمۡرُنَا لَيۡلاً اَوۡ نَهَارًا فَجَعَلۡنٰهَا حَصِيۡدًا كَاَنۡ لَّمۡ تَغۡنَ بِالۡاَمۡسِ‌ؕ كَذٰلِكَ نُـفَصِّلُ الۡاٰيٰتِ لِقَوۡمٍ يَّتَفَكَّرُوۡنَ‏﴿۲۴﴾

دنیا Ú©ÛŒ زندگی Ú©ÛŒ مثال مینھہ Ú©ÛŒ سی ہے کہ ہم Ù†Û’ اس Ú©Ùˆ آسمان سے برسایا۔ پھر اس Ú©Û’ ساتھ سبزہ جسے آدمی اور جانور کھاتے ہیں مل کر نکلا یہاں تک کہ زمین سبزے سے خوشنما اور آراستہ ہوگئی اور زمین والوں Ù†Û’ خیال کیا کہ وہ اس پر پوری دسترس رکھتے ہیں ناگہاں رات Ú©Ùˆ یا دن Ú©Ùˆ ہمارا Ø­Ú©Ù… (عذاب) آپہنچا تو ہم Ù†Û’ اس Ú©Ùˆ کاٹ (کر ایسا کر) ڈالا کہ گویا Ú©Ù„ وہاں Ú©Ú†Ú¾ تھا ہی نہیں۔ جو لوگ غور کرنے والے ہیں۔ ان Ú©Û’ لیے ہم (اپنی قدرت Ú©ÛŒ) نشانیاں اسی طرح کھول کھول کر بیان کرتے ہیں﴿۲۴﴾

The similitude of the life of the world is only as water which We send down from the sky, then the earth's growth of that which men and cattle eat mingleth with it till, when the earth hath taken on her ornaments and is embellished, and her people deem that they are masters of her, Our commandment cometh by night or by day and We make it as reaped corn as if it had not flourished yesterday. Thus do we expound the revelations for people who reflect.﴾24﴿
