Surah Al-Isra Ayat/verse 16 with Urdu & English Translation - 17:16

وَاِذَاۤ اَرَدۡنَاۤ اَنۡ نُّهۡلِكَ قَرۡيَةً اَمَرۡنَا مُتۡرَفِيۡهَا فَفَسَقُوۡا فِيۡهَا فَحَقَّ عَلَيۡهَا الۡقَوۡلُ فَدَمَّرۡنٰهَا تَدۡمِيۡرًا‏﴿۱۶﴾

اور جب ہمارا ارادہ کسی بستی Ú©Û’ ہلاک کرنے کا ہوا تو وہاں Ú©Û’ آسودہ لوگوں Ú©Ùˆ (فواحش پر) مامور کردیا تو وہ نافرمانیاں کرتے رہے۔ پھر اس پر (عذاب کا) Ø­Ú©Ù… ثابت ہوگیا۔ اور ہم Ù†Û’ اسے ہلاک کر ڈالا﴿۱۶﴾

And when We would destroy a township We send commandment to its folk who live at ease, and afterward they commit abomination therein, and so the Word (of doom) hath effect for it, and we annihilate it with complete annihilation.﴾16﴿
