Surah Al-Isra Ayat/verse 73 with Urdu & English Translation - 17:73

وَاِنۡ كَادُوۡا لَيَـفۡتِنُوۡنَكَ عَنِ الَّذِىۡۤ اَوۡحَيۡنَاۤ اِلَيۡكَ لِتَفۡتَرِىَ عَلَيۡنَا غَيۡرَهٗ‌‌ۖ وَاِذًا لَّاتَّخَذُوۡكَ خَلِيۡلاً‏﴿۷۳﴾

اور اے پیغمبر جو وحی ہم Ù†Û’ تمہاری طرف بھیجی ہے قریب تھا کہ یہ (کافر) لوگ تم Ú©Ùˆ اس سے بچلا دیں تاکہ تم اس Ú©Û’ سوا اور باتیں ہماری نسبت بنالو۔ اور اس وقت وہ تم Ú©Ùˆ دوست بنا لیتے﴿۷۳﴾

And they indeed strove hard to beguile thee (Muhammad) away from that wherewith We have inspired thee, that thou shouldst invent other than it against Us; and then would they have accepted thee as a friend.﴾73﴿
