Surah Al-Baqara Ayat/verse 214 with Urdu & English Translation - 2:214

اَمۡ حَسِبۡتُمۡ اَنۡ تَدۡخُلُوۡا الۡجَـنَّةَ ÙˆÙŽ لَمَّا يَاۡتِكُمۡ مَّثَلُ الَّذِيۡنَ خَلَوۡا مِنۡ قَبۡلِكُمۡؕ مَّسَّتۡهُمُ الۡبَاۡسَآءُ وَالضَّرَّآءُ وَزُلۡزِلُوۡا حَتّٰى يَقُوۡلَ الرَّسُوۡلُ وَالَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا مَعَهٗ مَتٰى نَصۡرُ اللّٰهِؕ اَلَاۤ اِنَّ نَصۡرَ اللّٰهِ قَرِيۡبٌ‏﴿۲۱۴﴾

کیا تم یہ خیال کرتے ہو کہ (یوں ہی) بہشت میں داخل ہوجاؤ Ú¯Û’ اور ابھی تم Ú©Ùˆ پہلے لوگوں Ú©ÛŒ سی (مشکلیں) تو پیش آئی ہی نہیں۔ ان Ú©Ùˆ (بڑی بڑی) سختیاں اور تکلیفیں پہنچیں اور وہ (صعوبتوں میں) ہلا ہلا دیئے گئے۔ یہاں تک کہ پیغمبر اور مومن لوگ جو ان Ú©Û’ ساتھ تھے سب پکار اٹھے کہ کب خدا Ú©ÛŒ مدد آئے Ú¯ÛŒ Û” دیکھو خدا Ú©ÛŒ مدد (عن) قریب (آيا چاہتی) ہے﴿۲۱۴﴾

Or think ye that ye will enter paradise while yet there hath not come unto you the like of (that which came to) those who passed away before you? Affliction and adversity befell them, they were shaken as with earthquake, till the messenger (of Allah) and those who believed along with him said: When cometh Allah's help? Now surely Allah's help is nigh.﴾214﴿
