وَالَّذِيۡنَ يَرۡمُوۡنَ الۡمُحۡصَنٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمۡ يَاۡتُوۡا بِاَرۡبَعَةِ شُهَدَآءَ فَاجۡلِدُوۡهُمۡ ثَمٰنِيۡنَ جَلۡدَةً وَّلَا تَقۡبَلُوۡا لَهُمۡ شَهَادَةً اَبَدًاۚ وَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمُ الۡفٰسِقُوۡنَۙ﴿۴﴾
اور جو لوگ پرہیزگار عورتوں کو بدکاری کا عیب لگائیں اور اس پر چار گواہ نہ لائیں تو ان کو اسی درے مارو اور کبھی ان کی شہادت قبول نہ کرو۔ اور یہی بدکردار ہیں﴿۴﴾
And those who accuse honourable women but bring not four witnesses, scourge them (with) eighty stripes and never (afterward) accept their testimony - They indeed are evil-doers -﴾4﴿
