وَاسۡتَكۡبَرَ هُوَ وَجُنُوۡدُهٗ فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِ بِغَيۡرِ الۡحَـقِّ وَظَنُّوۡۤا اَنَّهُمۡ اِلَـيۡنَا لَا يُرۡجَعُوۡنَ﴿۳۹﴾

اور وہ اور اس کے لشکر ملک میں ناحق مغرور ہورہے تھے اور خیال کرتے تھے کہ وہ ہماری طرف لوٹ کر نہیں آئیں گے﴿۳۹﴾
