وَاقۡصِدۡ فِىۡ مَشۡيِكَ وَاغۡضُضۡ مِنۡ صَوۡتِكَؕ اِنَّ اَنۡكَرَ الۡاَصۡوَاتِ لَصَوۡتُ الۡحَمِيۡرِ﴿۱۹﴾
اور اپنی چال میں اعتدال کئے رہنا اور (بولتے وقت) آواز نیچی رکھنا کیونکہ (اُونچی آواز گدھوں کی ہے اور کچھ شک نہیں کہ) سب آوازوں سے بُری آواز گدھوں کی ہے﴿۱۹﴾
Be modest in thy bearing and subdue thy voice. Lo! the harshest of all voices is the voice of the ass.﴾19﴿
