وَقَالُوۡا لَوۡلَا نُزِّلَ هٰذَا الۡقُرۡاٰنُ عَلٰى رَجُلٍ مِّنَ الۡقَرۡيَتَيۡنِ عَظِيۡمٍ﴿۳۱﴾

اور (یہ بھی) کہنے لگے کہ یہ قرآن ان دونوں بستیوں (یعنی مکّے اور طائف) میں سے کسی بڑے آدمی پر کیوں نازل نہ کیا گیا؟﴿۳۱﴾
