قَالُوۡا يٰمُوۡسٰٓى اِنَّا لَنۡ نَّدۡخُلَهَاۤ اَبَدًا مَّا دَامُوۡا فِيۡهَا فَاذۡهَبۡ اَنۡتَ وَرَبُّكَ فَقَاتِلَاۤ اِنَّا هٰهُنَا قٰعِدُوۡنَ﴿۲۴﴾
وہ بولے کہ موسیٰ! جب تک وہ لوگ وہاں ہیں ہم کبھی وہاں نہیں جا سکتے (اگر لڑنا ہی ضرور ہے) تو تم اور تمہارا خدا جاؤ اور لڑو ہم یہیں بیٹھے رہیں گے﴿۲۴﴾
They said: O Moses! We will never enter (the land) while they are in it. So go thou and thy Lord and fight! We will sit here.﴾24﴿
