Surah Maidah Ayat/verse 45 with Urdu & English Translation - 5:45

وَكَتَبۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ فِيۡهَاۤ اَنَّ النَّفۡسَ بِالنَّفۡسِۙ وَالۡعَيۡنَ بِالۡعَيۡنِ وَالۡاَنۡفَ بِالۡاَنۡفِ وَالۡاُذُنَ بِالۡاُذُنِ وَالسِّنَّ بِالسِّنِّۙ وَالۡجُرُوۡحَ قِصَاصٌ‌ؕ فَمَنۡ تَصَدَّقَ بِهٖ فَهُوَ كَفَّارَةٌ لَّهٗ‌ؕ ÙˆÙŽÙ…ÙŽÙ†Û¡ لَّمۡ يَحۡكُمۡ بِمَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰهُ فَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمُ الظّٰلِمُوۡنَ‏﴿۴۵﴾

اور ہم Ù†Û’ ان لوگوں Ú©Û’ لیے تورات میں یہ Ø­Ú©Ù… Ù„Ú©Ú¾ دیا تھا کہ جان Ú©Û’ بدلے جان اور آنکھ Ú©Û’ بدلے آنکھ اور ناک Ú©Û’ بدلے ناک اور کان Ú©Û’ بدلے کان اور دانت Ú©Û’ بدلے دانت اور سب زخموں کا اسی طرح بدلہ ہے لیکن جو شخص بدلہ معاف کر دے وہ اس Ú©Û’ لیے کفارہ ہوگا اور جو خدا Ú©Û’ نازل فرمائے ہوئے احکام Ú©Û’ مطابق Ø­Ú©Ù… نہ دے تو ایسے ہی لوگ بےانصاف ہیں﴿۴۵﴾

And We prescribed for them therein: The life for the life, and the eye for the eye, and the nose for the nose, and the ear for the ear, and the tooth for the tooth, and for wounds retaliation. But whoso forgoeth it (in the way of charity) it shall be expiation for him. Whoso judgeth not by that which Allah hath revealed: such are wrong-doers.﴾45﴿
