Surah Taubah Ayat/verse 70 with Urdu & English Translation - 9:70

اَلَمۡ يَاۡتِهِمۡ نَبَاُ الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِهِمۡ قَوۡمِ نُوۡحٍ وَّعَادٍ وَّثَمُوۡدَ  ۙ وَقَوۡمِ اِبۡرٰهِيۡمَ وَاَصۡحٰبِ مَدۡيَنَ وَالۡمُؤۡتَفِكٰتِ‌ؕ اَتَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُمۡ بِالۡبَيِّنٰتِ‌‌ۚ فَمَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ لِيَظۡلِمَهُمۡ وَلٰـكِنۡ كَانُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَهُمۡ يَظۡلِمُوۡنَ‏﴿۷۰﴾

کیا ان Ú©Ùˆ ان لوگوں (Ú©Û’ حالات) Ú©ÛŒ خبر نہیں پہنچی جو ان سے پہلے تھے (یعنی) نوح اور عاد اور ثمود Ú©ÛŒ قوم۔ اور ابراہیم Ú©ÛŒ قوم اور مدین والے اور الٹی ہوئی بستیوں والے۔ ان Ú©Û’ پاس پیغمبر نشانیاں Ù„Û’ Ù„Û’ کر آئے۔ اور خدا تو ایسا نہ تھا کہ ان پر ظلم کرتا لیکن وہی اپنے آپ پر ظلم کرتے تھے﴿۷۰﴾

Hath not the fame of those before them reached them - the folk of Noah, A'ad, Thamud, the folk of Abraham, the dwellers of Midian and the disasters (which befell them)? Their messengers (from Allah) came unto them with proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty). So Allah surely wronged them not, but they did wrong themselves.﴾70﴿
