كٓهٰيٰـعٓـصٓ‌ۚ‏ ﴿۱﴾

Kaf. Ha. Ya. A'in. Sad. ﴾1﴿

ذِكۡرُ رَحۡمَتِ رَبِّكَ عَـبۡدَهٗ زَكَرِيَّا ‌ۖ‌ۚ‏ ﴿۲﴾

A mention of the mercy of thy Lord unto His servant Zachariah. ﴾2﴿

اِذۡ نَادٰى رَبَّهٗ نِدَآءً خَفِيًّا‏ ﴿۳﴾

When he cried unto his Lord a cry in secret, ﴾3﴿

قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّىۡ ÙˆÙŽÙ‡ÙŽÙ†ÙŽ الۡعَظۡمُ مِنِّىۡ وَاشۡتَعَلَ الرَّاۡسُ شَيۡبًا وَّلَمۡ اَكُنۡۢ بِدُعَآٮِٕكَ رَبِّ شَقِيًّا‏ ﴿۴﴾

Saying: My Lord! Lo! the bones of me wax feeble and my head is shining with grey hair, and I have never been unblest in prayer to Thee, my Lord. ﴾4﴿

وَاِنِّىۡ خِفۡتُ الۡمَوَالِىَ مِنۡ وَّرَآءِىۡ وَكَانَتِ امۡرَاَتِىۡ عَاقِرًا فَهَبۡ لِىۡ مِنۡ لَّدُنۡكَ وَلِيًّاۙ‏ ﴿۵﴾

Lo! I fear my kinsfolk after me, since my wife is barren. Oh, give me from Thy presence a successor ﴾5﴿

يَّرِثُنِىۡ وَيَرِثُ مِنۡ اٰلِ يَعۡقُوۡبَ‌ وَاجۡعَلۡهُ رَبِّ رَضِيًّا‏ ﴿۶﴾

Who shall inherit of me and inherit (also) of the house of Jacob. And make him, my Lord, acceptable (unto Thee). ﴾6﴿

يٰزَكَرِيَّاۤ اِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلٰم ۨاسۡمُهٗ يَحۡيٰىۙ Ù„ÙŽÙ…Û¡ نَجۡعَل لَّهٗ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ سَمِيًّا‏ ﴿۷﴾

(It was said unto him): O Zachariah! Lo! We bring thee tidings of a son whose name is John; we have given the same name to none before (him). ﴾7﴿

قَالَ رَبِّ اَنّٰى يَكُوۡنُ لِىۡ غُلٰمٌ وَّكَانَتِ امۡرَاَتِىۡ عَاقِرًا وَّقَدۡ بَلَـغۡتُ مِنَ الۡـكِبَرِ عِتِيًّا‏ ﴿۸﴾

He said: My Lord! How can I have a son when my wife is barren and I have reached infirm old age? ﴾8﴿

قَالَ كَذٰلِكَ‌ۚ قَالَ رَبُّكَ هُوَ عَلَىَّ هَيِّنٌ وَّقَدۡ خَلَقۡتُكَ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ ÙˆÙŽÙ„ÙŽÙ…Û¡ تَكُ شَيۡـًٔـا‏ ﴿۹﴾

He said: So (it will be). Thy Lord saith: It is easy for Me, even as I created thee before, when thou wast naught. ﴾9﴿

قَالَ رَبِّ اجۡعَل لِّىۡۤ اٰيَةً‌ ؕ قَالَ اٰيَتُكَ اَلَّا تُكَلِّمَ النَّاسَ ثَلٰثَ لَيَالٍ سَوِيًّا‏ ﴿۱۰﴾

He said: My Lord! Appoint for me some token. He said: Thy token is that thou, with no bodily defect, shalt not speak unto mankind three nights. ﴾10﴿

فَخَرَجَ عَلٰى قَوۡمِهٖ مِنَ الۡمِحۡرَابِ فَاَوۡحٰٓى اِلَيۡهِمۡ اَنۡ سَبِّحُوۡا بُكۡرَةً وَّعَشِيًّا‏ ﴿۱۱﴾

Then he came forth unto his people from the sanctuary, and signified to them: Glorify your Lord at break of day and fall of night. ﴾11﴿

يٰيَحۡيٰى خُذِ الۡكِتٰبَ بِقُوَّةٍ‌ؕ وَاٰتَيۡنٰهُ الۡحُكۡمَ صَبِيًّاۙ‏ ﴿۱۲﴾

(And it was said unto his son): O John! Hold fast the Scripture. And we gave him wisdom when a child, ﴾12﴿

وَّحَنَانًـا مِّنۡ لَّدُنَّا وَزَكٰوةً ‌ؕ وَّكَانَ تَقِيًّاۙ‏ ﴿۱۳﴾

And compassion from Our presence, and purity; and he was devout, ﴾13﴿

وَّبَرًّۢا بِوَالِدَيۡهِ ÙˆÙŽÙ„ÙŽÙ…Û¡ يَكُنۡ جَبَّارًا عَصِيًّا‏ ﴿۱۴﴾

And dutiful toward his parents. And he was not arrogant, rebellious. ﴾14﴿

وَسَلٰمٌ عَلَيۡهِ ÙŠÙŽÙˆÛ¡Ù…ÙŽ وُلِدَ ÙˆÙŽÙŠÙŽÙˆÛ¡Ù…ÙŽ يَمُوۡتُ ÙˆÙŽÙŠÙŽÙˆÛ¡Ù…ÙŽ يُبۡعَثُ حَيًّا‏ ﴿۱۵﴾

Peace on him the day he was born, and the day he dieth and the day he shall be raised alive! ﴾15﴿

وَاذۡكُرۡ فِىۡ الۡـكِتٰبِ مَرۡيَمَ‌ۘ اِذِ انتَبَذَتۡ مِنۡ اَهۡلِهَا مَكَانًا شَرۡقِيًّاۙ‏ ﴿۱۶﴾

And make mention of Mary in the Scripture, when she had withdrawn from her people to a chamber looking East, ﴾16﴿

فَاتَّخَذَتۡ مِنۡ دُوۡنِهِمۡ حِجَابًا فَاَرۡسَلۡنَاۤ اِلَيۡهَا رُوۡحَنَا فَتَمَثَّلَ لَهَا بَشَرًا سَوِيًّا‏ ﴿۱۷﴾

And had chosen seclusion from them. Then We sent unto her Our Spirit and it assumed for her the likeness of a perfect man. ﴾17﴿

قَالَتۡ اِنِّىۡۤ اَعُوۡذُ بِالرَّحۡمٰنِ مِنۡكَ اِنۡ كُنۡتَ تَقِيًّا‏ ﴿۱۸﴾

She said: Lo! I seek refuge in the Beneficent One from thee, if thou art Allah-fearing. ﴾18﴿

‌قَالَ اِنَّمَاۤ اَنَا رَسُوۡلُ رَبِّكِ‌ۖ لِاَهَبَ لَـكِ غُلٰمًا زَكِيًّا‏ ﴿۱۹﴾

He said: I am only a messenger of thy Lord, that I may bestow on thee a faultless son. ﴾19﴿

قَالَتۡ اَنّٰى يَكُوۡنُ لِىۡ غُلٰمٌ وَّلَمۡ يَمۡسَسۡنِىۡ بَشَرٌ وَّلَمۡ اَكُ بَغِيًّا‏ ﴿۲۰﴾

She said: How can I have a son when no mortal hath touched me, neither have I been unchaste? ﴾20﴿

قَالَ كَذٰلِكِ‌ۚ قَالَ رَبُّكِ هُوَ عَلَىَّ هَيِّنٌ‌ۚ وَّلِنَجۡعَلَهٗۤ اٰيَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَرَحۡمَةً مِّنَّا‌ۚ وَكَانَ اَمۡرًا مَّقۡضِيًّا‏ ﴿۲۱﴾

He said: So (it will be). Thy Lord saith: It is easy for Me. And (it will be) that We may make of him a revelation for mankind and a mercy from Us, and it is a thing ordained. ﴾21﴿

فَحَمَلَتۡهُ فَانتَبَذَتۡ بِهٖ مَكَانًا قَصِيًّا‏ ﴿۲۲﴾

And she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a far place. ﴾22﴿

فَاَجَآءَهَا الۡمَخَاضُ اِلٰى جِذۡعِ النَّخۡلَةِ‌ۚ قَالَتۡ يٰلَيۡتَنِىۡ مِتُّ قَبۡلَ هٰذَا وَكُنۡتُ نَسۡيًا مَّنۡسِيًّا‏ ﴿۲۳﴾

And the pangs of childbirth drove her unto the trunk of the palm-tree. She said: Oh, would that I had died ere this and had become a thing of naught, forgotten! ﴾23﴿

فَنَادٰٮهَا مِنۡ تَحۡتِهَاۤ اَلَّا تَحۡزَنِىۡ قَدۡ جَعَلَ رَبُّكِ تَحۡتَكِ سَرِيًّا‏ ﴿۲۴﴾

Then (one) cried unto her from below her, saying: Grieve not! Thy Lord hath placed a rivulet beneath thee, ﴾24﴿

وَهُزِّىۡۤ اِلَيۡكِ بِجِذۡعِ النَّخۡلَةِ تُسٰقِطۡ عَلَيۡكِ رُطَبًا جَنِيًّا‏ ﴿۲۵﴾

And shake the trunk of the palm-tree toward thee, thou wilt cause ripe dates to fall upon thee. ﴾25﴿

فَكُلِىۡ وَاشۡرَبِىۡ وَقَرِّىۡ عَيۡنًا‌ۚ فَاِمَّا تَرَيِنَّ مِنَ الۡبَشَرِ اَحَدًاۙ فَقُوۡلِىۡۤ اِنِّىۡ نَذَرۡتُ لِلرَّحۡمٰنِ صَوۡمًا فَلَنۡ اُكَلِّمَ الۡيَوۡمَ اِنۡسِيًّا‌ۚ‏ ﴿۲۶﴾

So eat and drink and be consoled. And if thou meetest any mortal, say: Lo! I have vowed a fast unto the Beneficent, and may not speak this day to any mortal. ﴾26﴿

فَاَتَتۡ بِهٖ قَوۡمَهَا تَحۡمِلُهٗ‌ؕ قَالُوۡا يٰمَرۡيَمُ لَقَدۡ جِئۡتِ شَيۡـًٔـا فَرِيًّا‏ ﴿۲۷﴾

Then she brought him to her own folk, carrying him. They said: O Mary! Thou hast come with an amazing thing. ﴾27﴿

يٰۤاُخۡتَ هٰرُوۡنَ مَا كَانَ اَبُوۡكِ امۡرَاَ سَوۡءٍ وَّمَا كَانَتۡ اُمُّكِ بَغِيًّا‌ ۖ‌ۚ‏ ﴿۲۸﴾

O sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a wicked man nor was thy mother a harlot. ﴾28﴿

فَاَشَارَتۡ اِلَيۡهِ‌ؕ قَالُوۡا كَيۡفَ نُـكَلِّمُ Ù…ÙŽÙ†Û¡ كَانَ فِىۡ الۡمَهۡدِ صَبِيًّا‏ ﴿۲۹﴾

Then she pointed to him. They said: How can we talk to one who is in the cradle, a young boy? ﴾29﴿

قَالَ اِنِّىۡ عَبۡدُ اللّٰهِ ؕ اٰتٰٮنِىَ الۡكِتٰبَ وَجَعَلَنِىۡ نَبِيًّاۙ‏ ﴿۳۰﴾

He spake: Lo! I am the slave of Allah. He hath given me the Scripture and hath appointed me a Prophet, ﴾30﴿

وَجَعَلَنِىۡ مُبَارَكًا اَيۡنَ مَا كُنۡتُ وَاَوۡصٰنِىۡ بِالصَّلٰوةِ وَالزَّكٰوةِ مَا دُمۡتُ حَيًّا‌ۖ‏ ﴿۳۱﴾

And hath made me blessed wheresoever I may be, and hath enjoined upon me prayer and almsgiving so long as I remain alive, ﴾31﴿

وَّبَرًّا بِۢوٰلِدَتِىۡ ÙˆÙŽÙ„ÙŽÙ…Û¡ يَجۡعَلۡنِىۡ جَبَّارًا شَقِيًّا‏ ﴿۳۲﴾

And (hath made me) dutiful toward her who bore me, and hath not made me arrogant, unblest. ﴾32﴿

وَالسَّلٰمُ عَلَىَّ ÙŠÙŽÙˆÛ¡Ù…ÙŽ وُلِدْتُّ ÙˆÙŽÙŠÙŽÙˆÛ¡Ù…ÙŽ اَمُوۡتُ ÙˆÙŽÙŠÙŽÙˆÛ¡Ù…ÙŽ اُبۡعَثُ حَيًّا‏ ﴿۳۳﴾

Peace on me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive! ﴾33﴿

ذٰلِكَ عِيۡسَى ابۡنُ مَرۡيَمَ‌ؕ Ù‚ÙŽÙˆÛ¡Ù„ÙŽ الۡحَـقِّ الَّذِىۡ فِيۡهِ يَمۡتَرُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۳۴﴾

Such was Jesus, son of Mary: (this is) a statement of the truth concerning which they doubt. ﴾34﴿

مَا كَانَ لِلّٰهِ اَنۡ يَّتَّخِذَ مِنۡ وَّلَدٍ‌ۙ سُبۡحٰنَهٗ‌ؕ اِذَا قَضٰٓى اَمۡرًا فَاِنَّمَا يَقُوۡلُ لَهٗ كُنۡ فَيَكُوۡنُؕ‏ ﴿۳۵﴾

It befitteth not (the Majesty of) Allah that He should take unto Himself a son. Glory be to Him! When He decreeth a thing, He saith unto it only: Be! and it is. ﴾35﴿

وَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ رَبِّىۡ وَرَبُّكُمۡ فَاعۡبُدُوۡهُ‌ؕ هٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسۡتَقِيۡمٌ‏ ﴿۳۶﴾

And lo! Allah is my Lord and your Lord. So serve Him. That is the right path. ﴾36﴿

فَاخۡتَلَفَ الۡاَحۡزَابُ مِنۡۢ بَيۡنِهِمۡ‌ۚ فَوَيۡلٌ لِّـلَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا مِنۡ مَّشۡهَدِ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيۡمٍ‏ ﴿۳۷﴾

The sects among them differ: but woe unto the disbelievers from the meeting of an awful Day. ﴾37﴿

اَسۡمِعۡ بِهِمۡ وَاَبۡصِرۡۙ ÙŠÙŽÙˆÛ¡Ù…ÙŽ يَاۡتُوۡنَنَا‌ لٰـكِنِ الظّٰلِمُوۡنَ الۡيَوۡمَ فِىۡ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيۡنٍ‏ ﴿۳۸﴾

See and hear them on the Day they come unto Us! yet the evil-doers are to-day in error manifest. ﴾38﴿

وَاَنۡذِرۡهُمۡ ÙŠÙŽÙˆÛ¡Ù…ÙŽ الۡحَسۡرَةِ اِذۡ قُضِىَ الۡاَمۡرُ‌‌ۘ وَهُمۡ فِىۡ غَفۡلَةٍ وَّهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۳۹﴾

And warn them of the Day of anguish when the case hath been decided. Now they are in a state of carelessness, and they believe not. ﴾39﴿

اِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَرِثُ الۡاَرۡضَ ÙˆÙŽÙ…ÙŽÙ†Û¡ عَلَيۡهَا وَاِلَـيۡنَا يُرۡجَعُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۴۰﴾

Lo! We, only We, inherit the earth and all who are thereon, and unto Us they are returned. ﴾40﴿

وَاذۡكُرۡ فِىۡ الۡكِتٰبِ اِبۡرٰهِيۡمَ  ؕ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ صِدِّيۡقًا نَّبِيًّا‏ ﴿۴۱﴾

And make mention (O Muhammad) in the Scripture of Abraham. Lo! he was a saint, a prophet. ﴾41﴿

اِذۡ قَالَ لِاَبِيۡهِ يٰۤاَبَتِ لِمَ تَعۡبُدُ مَا لَا يَسۡمَعُ وَلَا يُبۡصِرُ ÙˆÙŽ لَا يُغۡنِىۡ عَنۡكَ شَيۡـًٔـا‏ ﴿۴۲﴾

When he said unto his father: O my father! Why worshippest thou that which heareth not nor seeth, nor can in aught avail thee? ﴾42﴿

يٰۤاَبَتِ اِنِّىۡ قَدۡ جَآءَنِىۡ مِنَ الۡعِلۡمِ مَا Ù„ÙŽÙ…Û¡ يَاۡتِكَ فَاتَّبِعۡنِىۡۤ اَهۡدِكَ صِرَاطًا سَوِيًّا‏ ﴿۴۳﴾

O my father! Lo! there hath come unto me of knowledge that which came not unto thee. So follow me, and I will lead thee on a right path. ﴾43﴿

يٰۤاَبَتِ لَا تَعۡبُدِ الشَّيۡطٰنَ‌ؕ اِنَّ الشَّيۡطٰنَ كَانَ لِلرَّحۡمٰنِ عَصِيًّا‏ ﴿۴۴﴾

O my father! Serve not the devil. Lo! the devil is a rebel unto the Beneficent. ﴾44﴿

يٰۤاَبَتِ اِنِّىۡۤ اَخَافُ اَنۡ يَّمَسَّكَ عَذَابٌ مِّنَ الرَّحۡمٰنِ فَتَكُوۡنَ لِلشَّيۡطٰنِ وَلِيًّا‏ ﴿۴۵﴾

O my father! Lo! I fear lest a punishment from the Beneficent overtake thee so that thou become a comrade of the devil. ﴾45﴿

قَالَ اَرَاغِبٌ اَنۡتَ عَنۡ اٰلِهَتِىۡ يٰۤاِبۡرٰهِيۡمُ‌ۚ لَٮِٕنۡ لَّمۡ تَنۡتَهِ لَاَرۡجُمَنَّكَ‌ وَاهۡجُرۡنِىۡ مَلِيًّا‏ ﴿۴۶﴾

He said: Rejectest thou my gods, O Abraham? If thou cease not, I shall surely stone thee. Depart from me a long while! ﴾46﴿

قَالَ سَلٰمٌ عَلَيۡكَ‌ۚ سَاَسۡتَغۡفِرُ لَـكَ رَبِّىۡؕ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ بِىۡ حَفِيًّا‏ ﴿۴۷﴾

He said: Peace be unto thee! I shall ask forgiveness of my Lord for thee. Lo! He was ever gracious unto me. ﴾47﴿

ÙˆÙŽ اَعۡتَزِلُـكُمۡ وَمَا تَدۡعُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ وَاَدۡعُوۡا رَبِّىۡ‌‌ۖ عَسٰٓى اَلَّاۤ اَكُوۡنَ بِدُعَآءِ رَبِّىۡ شَقِيًّا‏ ﴿۴۸﴾

I shall withdraw from you and that unto which ye pray beside Allah, and I shall pray unto my Lord. It may be that, in prayer unto my Lord, I shall not be unblest. ﴾48﴿

فَلَمَّا اعۡتَزَلَهُمۡ وَمَا يَعۡبُدُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِۙ وَهَبۡنَا لَهٗۤ اِسۡحٰقَ وَيَعۡقُوۡبَ‌ؕ وَكُلاًّ جَعَلۡنَا نَبِيًّا‏ ﴿۴۹﴾

So, when he had withdrawn from them and that which they were worshipping beside Allah, We gave him Isaac and Jacob. Each of them We made a prophet. ﴾49﴿

وَوَهَبۡنَا لَهُمۡ مِّنۡ رَّحۡمَتِنَا وَجَعَلۡنَا لَهُمۡ لِسَانَ صِدۡقٍ عَلِيًّا‏ ﴿۵۰﴾

And we gave them of Our mercy, and assigned to them a high and true renown. ﴾50﴿

وَاذۡكُرۡ فِىۡ الۡكِتٰبِ مُوۡسٰٓى‌ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ مُخۡلَصًا وَّكَانَ رَسُوۡلاً نَّبِيًّا‏ ﴿۵۱﴾

And make mention in the Scripture of Moses. Lo! he was chosen, and he was a messenger (of Allah), a prophet. ﴾51﴿

وَنَادَيۡنٰهُ مِنۡ جَانِبِ الطُّوۡرِ الۡاَيۡمَنِ وَقَرَّبۡنٰهُ نَجِيًّا‏ ﴿۵۲﴾

We called him from the right slope of the Mount, and brought him nigh in communion. ﴾52﴿

ÙˆÙŽ وَهَبۡنَا لَهٗ مِنۡ رَّحۡمَتِنَاۤ اَخَاهُ هٰرُوۡنَ نَبِيًّا‏ ﴿۵۳﴾

And We bestowed upon him of Our mercy his brother Aaron, a prophet (likewise). ﴾53﴿

وَاذۡكُرۡ فِىۡ الۡـكِتٰبِ اِسۡمٰعِيۡلَ‌ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ صَادِقَ الۡوَعۡدِ وَكَانَ رَسُوۡلاً نَّبِيًّا‌ۚ‏ ﴿۵۴﴾

And make mention in the Scripture of Ishmael. Lo! he was a keeper of his promise, and he was a messenger (of Allah), a prophet. ﴾54﴿

ÙˆÙŽ كَانَ يَاۡمُرُ اَهۡلَهٗ بِالصَّلٰوةِ وَالزَّكٰوةِ وَكَانَ عِنۡدَ رَبِّهٖ مَرۡضِيًّا‏ ﴿۵۵﴾

He enjoined upon his people worship and almsgiving, and was acceptable in the sight of his Lord. ﴾55﴿

وَاذۡكُرۡ فِىۡ الۡكِتٰبِ اِدۡرِيۡسَ‌ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ صِدِّيۡقًا نَّبِيًّاۙ‏ ﴿۵۶﴾

And make mention in the Scripture of Idris. Lo! he was a saint, a prophet; ﴾56﴿

وَّرَفَعۡنٰهُ مَكَانًا عَلِيًّا‏ ﴿۵۷﴾

And We raised him to high station. ﴾57﴿

اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ الَّذِيۡنَ اَنۡعَمَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ مِّنَ النَّبِيّٖنَ مِنۡ ذُرِّيَّةِ اٰدَمَ وَمِمَّنۡ حَمَلۡنَا مَعَ نُوۡحٍ وَّمِنۡ ذُرِّيَّةِ اِبۡرٰهِيۡمَ وَاِسۡرآءِيۡلَ وَمِمَّنۡ هَدَيۡنَا وَاجۡتَبَيۡنَا‌ؕ اِذَا تُتۡلٰى عَلَيۡهِمۡ اٰيٰتُ الرَّحۡمٰنِ خَرُّوۡا سُجَّدًا وَّبُكِيًّا ۩‏ ﴿۵۸﴾

These are they unto whom Allah showed favour from among the prophets, of the seed of Adam and of those whom We carried (in the ship) with Noah, and of the seed of Abraham and Israel, and from among those whom We guided and chose. When the revelations of the Beneficent were recited unto them, they fell down, adoring and weeping. ﴾58﴿

فَخَلَفَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ خَلۡفٌ اَضَاعُوا الصَّلٰوةَ وَاتَّبَعُوا الشَّهٰوتِ‌ فَسَوۡفَ ÙŠÙŽÙ„Û¡Ù‚ÙŽÙˆÛ¡Ù†ÙŽ غَيًّاۙ‏ ﴿۵۹﴾

Now there hath succeeded them a later generation whom have ruined worship and have followed lusts. But they will meet deception. ﴾59﴿

اِلَّا Ù…ÙŽÙ†Û¡ تَابَ وَاٰمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًـا فَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ يَدۡخُلُوۡنَ الۡجَـنَّةَ وَلَا يُظۡلَمُوۡنَ شَيۡـًٔـاۙ‏ ﴿۶۰﴾

Save him who shall repent and believe and do right. Such will enter the Garden, and they will not be wronged in aught - ﴾60﴿

جَنّٰتِ عَدۡنٍ ۨالَّتِىۡ وَعَدَ الرَّحۡمٰنُ عِبَادَهٗ بِالۡغَيۡبِ‌ؕ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ وَعۡدُهٗ مَاۡتِيًّا‏ ﴿۶۱﴾

Gardens of Eden, which the Beneficent hath promised to His slaves in the unseen. Lo! His promise is ever sure of fulfilment - ﴾61﴿

لَّا يَسۡمَعُوۡنَ فِيۡهَا لَـغۡوًا اِلَّا سَلٰمًا‌ؕ وَلَهُمۡ رِزۡقُهُمۡ فِيۡهَا بُكۡرَةً وَّعَشِيًّا‏ ﴿۶۲﴾

They hear therein no idle talk, but only Peace; and therein they have food for morn and evening. ﴾62﴿

تِلۡكَ الۡجَـنَّةُ الَّتِىۡ نُوۡرِثُ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا Ù…ÙŽÙ†Û¡ كَانَ تَقِيًّا‏ ﴿۶۳﴾

Such is the Garden which We cause the devout among Our bondmen to inherit. ﴾63﴿

وَمَا نَتَنَزَّلُ اِلَّا بِاَمۡرِ رَبِّكَ‌ۚ لَهٗ مَا بَيۡنَ اَيۡدِيۡنَا وَمَا خَلۡفَنَا وَمَا بَيۡنَ ذٰلِكَ‌ۚ وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ نَسِيًّا‌ۚ‏ ﴿۶۴﴾

We (angels) come not down save by commandment of thy Lord. Unto Him belongeth all that is before us and all that is behind us and all that is between those two, and thy Lord was never forgetful - ﴾64﴿

رَّبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ ÙˆÙŽ الۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا فَاعۡبُدۡهُ وَاصۡطَبِرۡ لِـعِبَادَتِهٖ‌ؕ Ù‡ÙŽÙ„Û¡ تَعۡلَمُ لَهٗ سَمِيًّا‏ ﴿۶۵﴾

Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them! Therefor, worship thou Him and be thou steadfast in His service. Knowest thou one that can be named along with Him? ﴾65﴿

وَيَقُوۡلُ الۡاِنۡسَانُ ءَاِذَا مَا مِتُّ لَسَوۡفَ اُخۡرَجُ حَيًّا‏ ﴿۶۶﴾

And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive? ﴾66﴿

اَوَلَا يَذۡكُرُ الۡاِنۡسَانُ اَنَّا خَلَقۡنٰهُ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ ÙˆÙŽÙ„ÙŽÙ…Û¡ يَكُ شَيۡـًٔـا‏ ﴿۶۷﴾

Doth not man remember that We created him before, when he was naught? ﴾67﴿

فَوَرَبِّكَ لَـنَحۡشُرَنَّهُمۡ وَالشَّيٰطِيۡنَ ثُمَّ لَــنُحۡضِرَنَّهُمۡ Ø­ÙŽÙˆÛ¡Ù„ÙŽ جَهَـنَّمَ جِثِيًّا‌ۚ‏ ﴿۶۸﴾

And, by thy Lord, verily We shall assemble them and the devils, then We shall bring them, crouching, around hell. ﴾68﴿

ثُمَّ لَـنَنۡزِعَنَّ مِنۡ كُلِّ شِيۡعَةٍ اَيُّهُمۡ اَشَدُّ عَلَى الرَّحۡمٰنِ عِتِيًّا‌ۚ‏ ﴿۶۹﴾

Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent. ﴾69﴿

ثُمَّ لَـنَحۡنُ اَعۡلَمُ بِالَّذِيۡنَ هُمۡ اَوۡلٰى بِهَا صِلِيًّا‏ ﴿۷۰﴾

And surely We are Best Aware of those most worthy to be burned therein. ﴾70﴿

وَاِنۡ مِّنْکُمْ اِلَّا وَارِدُهَا‌ؕ كَانَ عَلٰى رَبِّكَ حَتۡمًا مَّقۡضِيًّا‌ۚ‏ ﴿۷۱﴾

There is not one of you but shall approach it. That is a fixed ordinance of thy Lord. ﴾71﴿

ثُمَّ نُـنَجِّىۡ الَّذِيۡنَ اتَّقَوْا وَّنَذَرُ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ فِيۡهَا جِثِيًّا‏ ﴿۷۲﴾

Then We shall rescue those who kept from evil, and leave the evil-doers crouching there. ﴾72﴿

وَاِذَا تُتۡلٰى عَلَيۡهِمۡ اٰيٰتُنَا بَيِّنٰتٍ قَالَ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا لِلَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤاۙ اَىُّ الۡفَرِيۡقَيۡنِ خَيۡرٌ مَّقَامًا وَّاَحۡسَنُ نَدِيًّا‏ ﴿۷۳﴾

And when Our clear revelations are recited unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: Which of the two parties (yours or ours) is better in position, and more imposing as an army? ﴾73﴿

ÙˆÙŽÙƒÙŽÙ…Û¡ اَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُمۡ مِّنۡ قَرۡنٍ هُمۡ اَحۡسَنُ اَثَاثًا وَّرِءۡيًا‏ ﴿۷۴﴾

How many a generation have We destroyed before them, who were more imposing in respect of gear and outward seeming! ﴾74﴿

قُلۡ Ù…ÙŽÙ†Û¡ كَانَ فِىۡ الضَّلٰلَةِ فَلۡيَمۡدُدۡ لَهُ الرَّحۡمٰنُ مَدًّا‌ ‌ۚ حَتّٰٓى اِذَا رَاَوۡا مَا يُوۡعَدُوۡنَ اِمَّا الۡعَذَابَ وَاِمَّا السَّاعَةَ ؕ فَسَيَـعۡلَمُوۡنَ Ù…ÙŽÙ†Û¡ هُوَ شَرٌّ مَّكَانًا وَّاَضۡعَفُ جُنۡدًا‏ ﴿۷۵﴾

Say: As for him who is in error, the Beneficent will verily prolong his span of life until, when they behold that which they were promised, whether it be punishment (in the world), or the Hour (of doom), they will know who is worse in position and who is weaker as an army. ﴾75﴿

وَيَزِيۡدُ اللّٰهُ الَّذِيۡنَ اهۡتَدَوۡا هُدًى‌ؕ وَالۡبٰقِيٰتُ الصّٰلِحٰتُ خَيۡرٌ عِنۡدَ رَبِّكَ ثَوَابًا وَّخَيۡرٌ مَّرَدًّا‏ ﴿۷۶﴾

Allah increaseth in right guidance those who walk aright, and the good deeds which endure are better in thy Lord's sight for reward, and better for resort. ﴾76﴿

اَفَرَءَيۡتَ الَّذِىۡ كَفَرَ بِاٰيٰتِنَا وَقَالَ لَاُوۡتَيَنَّ مَالاً وَّوَلَدًاؕ‏ ﴿۷۷﴾

Hast thou seen him who disbelieveth in Our revelations and saith: Assuredly I shall be given wealth and children? ﴾77﴿

اَطَّلَعَ الۡغَيۡبَ اَمِ اتَّخَذَ عِنۡدَ الرَّحۡمٰنِ عَهۡدًاۙ‏ ﴿۷۸﴾

Hath he perused the Unseen, or hath he made a pact with the Beneficent? ﴾78﴿

كَلَّا‌ ؕ سَنَكۡتُبُ مَا يَقُوۡلُ وَنَمُدُّ لَهٗ مِنَ الۡعَذَابِ مَدًّاۙ‏ ﴿۷۹﴾

Nay, but We shall record that which he saith and prolong for him a span of torment. ﴾79﴿

وَنَرِثُهٗ مَا يَقُوۡلُ وَيَاۡتِيۡنَا فَرۡدًا‏ ﴿۸۰﴾

And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he will come unto Us, alone (without his wealth and children). ﴾80﴿

وَاتَّخَذُوۡا مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ اٰلِهَةً لِّيَكُوۡنُوۡا لَهُمۡ عِزًّاۙ‏ ﴿۸۱﴾

And they have chosen (other) gods beside Allah that they may be a power for them. ﴾81﴿

كَلَّا‌ؕ سَيَكۡفُرُوۡنَ بِعِبَادَتِهِمۡ وَيَكُوۡنُوۡنَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ضِدًّا‏ ﴿۸۲﴾

Nay, but they will deny their worship of them, and become opponents unto them. ﴾82﴿

اَلَمۡ تَرَ اَنَّاۤ اَرۡسَلۡنَا الشَّيٰـطِيۡنَ عَلَى الۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ تَؤُزُّهُمۡ اَزًّاۙ‏ ﴿۸۳﴾

Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? ﴾83﴿

فَلَا تَعۡجَلۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡ‌ؕ اِنَّمَا نَـعُدُّ لَهُمۡ عَدًّا‌ۚ‏ ﴿۸۴﴾

So make no haste against them (O Muhammad). We do but number unto them a sum (of days). ﴾84﴿

Û™ ÙŠÙŽÙˆÛ¡Ù…ÙŽ نَحۡشُرُ الۡمُتَّقِيۡنَ اِلَى الرَّحۡمٰنِ وَفۡدًا‌ۙ‏ ﴿۸۵﴾

On the day when We shall gather the righteous unto the Beneficent, a goodly company. ﴾85﴿

وَّنَسُوۡقُ الۡمُجۡرِمِيۡنَ اِلٰى جَهَـنَّمَ وِرۡدًا‌ۘ‏ ﴿۸۶﴾

And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, ﴾86﴿

لَا يَمۡلِكُوۡنَ الشَّفَاعَةَ اِلَّا مَنِ اتَّخَذَ عِنۡدَ الرَّحۡمٰنِ عَهۡدًا‌ۘ‏ ﴿۸۷﴾

They will have no power of intercession, save him who hath made a covenant with his Lord. ﴾87﴿

وَقَالُوۡا اتَّخَذَ الرَّحۡمٰنُ وَلَدًاؕ‏ ﴿۸۸﴾

And they say: The Beneficent hath taken unto Himself a son. ﴾88﴿

لَـقَدۡ جِئۡتُمۡ شَيۡـًٔـا اِدًّاۙ‏ ﴿۸۹﴾

Assuredly ye utter a disastrous thing ﴾89﴿

تَكَادُ السَّمٰوٰتُ يَتَفَطَّرۡنَ مِنۡهُ وَتَـنۡشَقُّ الۡاَرۡضُ وَتَخِرُّ الۡجِبَالُ هَدًّاۙ‏ ﴿۹۰﴾

Whereby almost the heavens are torn, and the earth is split asunder and the mountains fall in ruins, ﴾90﴿

اَنۡ دَعَوۡا لِـلرَّحۡمٰنِ وَلَدًا‌ۚ‏ ﴿۹۱﴾

That ye ascribe unto the Beneficent a son, ﴾91﴿

وَمَا يَنۡۢبَـغِىۡ لِلرَّحۡمٰنِ اَنۡ يَّتَّخِذَ وَلَدًاؕ‏ ﴿۹۲﴾

When it is not meet for (the Majesty of) the Beneficent that He should choose a son. ﴾92﴿

اِنۡ كُلُّ Ù…ÙŽÙ†Û¡ فِىۡ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ اِلَّاۤ اٰتِىۡ الرَّحۡمٰنِ عَبۡدًاؕ‏ ﴿۹۳﴾

There is none in the heavens and the earth but cometh unto the Beneficent as a slave. ﴾93﴿

لَـقَدۡ اَحۡصٰٮهُمۡ وَعَدَّهُمۡ عَدًّاؕ‏ ﴿۹۴﴾

Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. ﴾94﴿

وَكُلُّهُمۡ اٰتِيۡهِ ÙŠÙŽÙˆÛ¡Ù…ÙŽ الۡقِيٰمَةِ فَرۡدًا‏ ﴿۹۵﴾

And each one of them will come unto Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. ﴾95﴿

اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ سَيَجۡعَلُ لَهُمُ الرَّحۡمٰنُ وُدًّا‏ ﴿۹۶﴾

Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love. ﴾96﴿

فَاِنَّمَا يَسَّرۡنٰهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لِتُبَشِّرَ بِهِ الۡمُتَّقِيۡنَ وَتُنۡذِرَ بِهٖ قَوۡمًا لُّدًّا‏ ﴿۹۷﴾

And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. ﴾97﴿

ÙˆÙŽÙƒÙŽÙ…Û¡ اَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُمۡ مِّنۡ قَرۡنٍؕ Ù‡ÙŽÙ„Û¡ تُحِسُّ مِنۡهُمۡ مِّنۡ اَحَدٍ اَوۡ تَسۡمَعُ لَهُمۡ رِكۡزًا‏ ﴿۹۸﴾

And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? ﴾98﴿
