نٓ‌ وَالۡقَلَم٠وَمَا ÙŠÙŽØ³Û¡Ø·ÙØ±Ùوۡنَۙ†﴿۱﴾
Nun. By the pen and that which they write (therewith), ﴾1﴿
مَاۤ اَنۡتَ بÙÙ€Ù†ÙØ¹Û¡Ù…َة٠رَبّÙÙƒÙŽ بÙمَجۡنÙÙˆÛ¡Ù†Ù‌ۚ†﴿۲﴾
Thou art not, for thy Lord's favour unto thee, a madman. ﴾2﴿
وَاÙنَّ Ù„ÙŽÚªÙŽ لَاَجۡرًا غَيۡرَ Ù…ÙŽÙ…Û¡Ù†ÙÙˆÛ¡Ù†Ù‌ۚ†﴿۳﴾
And lo! thine verily will be a reward unfailing. ﴾3﴿
وَاÙنَّكَ لَعَلٰى Ø®ÙÙ„Ùق٠عَظÙيۡمن﴿۴﴾
And lo! thou art of a tremendous nature. ﴾4﴿
ÙÙŽØ³ÙŽØªÙØ¨Û¡ØµÙØ±Ù ÙˆÙŽÙŠÙØ¨Û¡ØµÙرÙوۡنَۙ†﴿۵﴾
And thou wilt see and they will see ﴾5﴿
Ø¨ÙØ§ÙŽÙŠÙ‘ÙٮكÙم٠الۡمَÙۡتÙوۡنن﴿۶﴾
Which of you is the demented. ﴾6﴿
اÙنَّ رَبَّكَ Ù‡ÙÙˆÙŽ اَعۡلَم٠بÙÙ…ÙŽÙ†Û¡ ضَلَّ عَنۡ سَبÙÙŠÛ¡Ù„Ùهٖ ÙˆÙŽÙ‡ÙÙˆÙŽ Ø§ÙŽØ¹Û¡Ù„ÙŽÙ…Ù Ø¨ÙØ§Ù„Û¡Ù…ÙهۡتَدÙيۡنَ†﴿۷﴾
Lo! thy Lord is Best Aware of him who strayeth from His way, and He is Best Aware of those who walk aright. ﴾7﴿
Ùَلَا ØªÙØ·Ùع٠الۡمÙÙƒÙŽØ°Ù‘ÙØ¨Ùيۡنَ†﴿۸﴾
Therefor obey not thou the rejecters ﴾8﴿
وَدّÙوۡا Ù„ÙŽÙˆÛ¡ ØªÙØ¯Û¡Ù‡ÙÙ†Ù ÙÙŽÙŠÙØ¯Û¡Ù‡ÙÙ†Ùوۡنَ†﴿۹﴾
Who would have had thee compromise, that they may compromise. ﴾9﴿
وَلَا ØªÙØ·Ùعۡ ÙƒÙلَّ ØÙŽÙ„َّاÙ٠مَّهÙÙŠÛ¡Ù†Ùۙ†﴿۱۰﴾
Neither obey thou each feeble oath-monger, ﴾10﴿
هَمَّاز٠مَّشَّآءÙÛ¢ بÙÙ†ÙŽÙ…ÙÙŠÛ¡Ù…Ùۙ†﴿۱۱﴾
Detracter, spreader abroad of slanders, ﴾11﴿
مَّنَّاع٠لّÙÙ„Û¡Ø®ÙŽÙŠÛ¡Ø±Ù Ù…ÙØ¹Û¡ØªÙŽØ¯Ù اَثÙÙŠÛ¡Ù…Ùۙ†﴿۱۲﴾
Hinderer of the good, transgressor, malefactor ﴾12﴿
Ø¹ÙØªÙلّÙ ۢ بَعۡدَ ذٰلÙÙƒÙŽ زَنÙÙŠÛ¡Ù…Ùۙ†﴿۱۳﴾
Greedy therewithal, intrusive. ﴾13﴿
اَنۡ كَانَ ذَا مَال٠وَّبَنÙيۡنَؕ†﴿۱۴﴾
It is because he is possessed of wealth and children ﴾14﴿
Ø§ÙØ°ÙŽØ§ ØªÙØªÛ¡Ù„ٰى عَلَيۡه٠اٰيٰتÙنَا قَالَ اَسَاطÙيۡر٠الۡاَوَّلÙيۡنَ†﴿۱۵﴾
That, when Our revelations are recited unto him, he saith: Mere fables of the men of old. ﴾15﴿
سَنَسÙÙ…Ùهٗ عَلَى الۡخÙـرۡطÙوۡمن﴿۱۶﴾
We shall brand him on the nose. ﴾16﴿
اÙنَّا بَلَوۡنٰهÙÙ…Û¡ كَمَا بَلَوۡنَاۤ اَصۡØÙ°Ø¨ÙŽ Ø§Ù„Û¡Ø¬ÙŽÙ€Ù†Ù‘ÙŽØ©Ù‌ۚ Ø§ÙØ°Û¡ اَقۡسَمÙوۡا لَيَصۡرÙÙ…Ùنَّهَا Ù…ÙØµÛ¡Ø¨ÙØÙيۡنَۙ†﴿۱۷﴾
Lo! We have tried them as We tried the owners of the garden when they vowed that they would pluck its fruit next morning, ﴾17﴿
وَلَا يَسۡتَثۡنÙوۡنَ†﴿۱۸﴾
And made no exception (for the Will of Allah); ﴾18﴿
ÙَطَاÙÙŽ عَلَيۡهَا طَآٮٕÙÙÙŒ مّÙÙ†Û¡ رَّبّÙÙƒÙŽ ÙˆÙŽÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ نَآٮٕÙÙ…Ùوۡنَ†﴿۱۹﴾
Then a visitation from thy Lord came upon it while they slept ﴾19﴿
ÙَاَصۡبَØÙŽØªÛ¡ كَالصَّرÙÙŠÛ¡Ù…Ùۙ†﴿۲۰﴾
And in the morning it was as if plucked. ﴾20﴿
Ùَتَنَادَوۡا Ù…ÙØµÛ¡Ø¨ÙØÙيۡنَۙ†﴿۲۱﴾
And they cried out one unto another in the morning, ﴾21﴿
اَن٠اغۡدÙوۡا عَلٰى ØÙŽØ±Û¡Ø«ÙÙƒÙÙ…Û¡ اÙÙ†Û¡ ÙƒÙنۡتÙÙ…Û¡ صٰرÙÙ…Ùيۡنَ†﴿۲۲﴾
Saying: Run unto your field if ye would pluck (the fruit). ﴾22﴿
ÙَانطَلَقÙوۡا ÙˆÙŽÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ يَتَخَاÙَتÙوۡنَۙ†﴿۲۳﴾
So they went off, saying one unto another in low tones: ﴾23﴿
اَنۡ لَّا يَدۡخÙلَنَّهَا الۡيَوۡمَ عَلَيۡكÙÙ…Û¡ Ù…Ù‘ÙØ³Û¡ÙƒÙيۡنٌۙ†﴿۲۴﴾
No needy man shall enter it to-day against you. ﴾24﴿
وَغَدَوۡا عَلٰى ØÙŽØ±Û¡Ø¯Ù Ù‚Ù°Ø¯ÙØ±Ùيۡنَ†﴿۲۵﴾
They went betimes, strong in (this) purpose. ﴾25﴿
Ùَلَمَّا رَاَوۡهَا قَالÙوۡۤا اÙنَّا لَـضَآلّÙوۡنَۙ†﴿۲۶﴾
But when they saw it, they said: Lo! we are in error! ﴾26﴿
بَلۡ Ù†ÙŽØÛ¡Ù†Ù Ù…ÙŽØÛ¡Ø±ÙÙˆÛ¡Ù…Ùوۡنَ†﴿۲۷﴾
Nay, but we are desolate! ﴾27﴿
قَالَ اَوۡسَطÙÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ اَلَمۡ اَقÙÙ„ لَّكÙÙ…Û¡ لَوۡلَا ØªÙØ³ÙŽØ¨Ù‘ÙØÙوۡنَ†﴿۲۸﴾
The best among them said: Said I not unto you: Why glorify ye not (Allah)? ﴾28﴿
قَالÙوۡا Ø³ÙØ¨Û¡ØÙ°Ù†ÙŽ Ø±ÙŽØ¨Ù‘Ùنَاۤ اÙنَّا ÙƒÙنَّا ظٰلÙÙ…Ùيۡنَ†﴿۲۹﴾
They said: Glorified be our Lord! Lo! we have been wrong-doers. ﴾29﴿
Ùَاَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضÙÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ عَلٰى بَعۡض٠يَّتَلَاوَمÙوۡنَ†﴿۳۰﴾
Then some of them drew near unto others, self-reproaching. ﴾30﴿
قَالÙوۡا يٰوَيۡلَنَاۤ اÙنَّا ÙƒÙنَّا طٰغÙيۡنَ†﴿۳۱﴾
They said: Alas for us! In truth we were outrageous. ﴾31﴿
عَسٰى رَبّÙنَاۤ اَنۡ ÙŠÙ‘ÙØ¨Û¡Ø¯Ùلَـنَا خَيۡرًا مّÙنۡهَاۤ اÙنَّاۤ اÙلٰى رَبّÙنَا Ø±Ù°ØºÙØ¨Ùوۡنَ†﴿۳۲﴾
It may be that our Lord will give us better than this in place thereof. Lo! we beseech our Lord. ﴾32﴿
كَذٰلÙÙƒÙŽ الۡعَذَابÙ‌ؕ ÙˆÙŽÙ„ÙŽØ¹ÙŽØ°ÙŽØ§Ø¨Ù Ø§Ù„Û¡Ø§Ù°Ø®ÙØ±ÙŽØ©Ù اَكۡبَرÙ‌ۘ Ù„ÙŽÙˆÛ¡ كَانÙوۡا يَعۡلَمÙوۡنَ†﴿۳۳﴾
Such was the punishment. And verily the punishment of the Hereafter is greater if they did but know. ﴾33﴿
اÙنَّ Ù„ÙÙ„Û¡Ù…ÙØªÙ‘ÙŽÙ‚ÙÙŠÛ¡Ù†ÙŽ عÙنۡدَ رَبّÙÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ جَنّٰت٠النَّعÙيۡمن﴿۳۴﴾
Lo! for those who keep from evil are gardens of bliss with their Lord. ﴾34﴿
اَÙÙŽÙ†ÙŽØ¬Û¡Ø¹ÙŽÙ„Ù Ø§Ù„Û¡Ù…ÙØ³Û¡Ù„ÙÙ…ÙÙŠÛ¡Ù†ÙŽ ÙƒÙŽØ§Ù„Û¡Ù…ÙØ¬Û¡Ø±ÙÙ…Ùيۡنَؕ†﴿۳۵﴾
Shall We then treat those who have surrendered as We treat the guilty? ﴾35﴿
مَا لَـكÙمۡ ÙƒÙŽÙŠÛ¡ÙÙŽ تَØÛ¡ÙƒÙÙ…Ùوۡنَ‌ۚ†﴿۳۶﴾
What aileth you? How foolishly ye judge! ﴾36﴿
اَمۡ لَـكÙÙ…Û¡ ÙƒÙØªÙ°Ø¨ÙŒ ÙÙÙŠÛ¡Ù‡Ù ØªÙŽØ¯Û¡Ø±ÙØ³Ùوۡنَۙ†﴿۳۷﴾
Or have ye a scripture wherein ye learn ﴾37﴿
اÙنَّ لَـكÙÙ…Û¡ ÙÙيۡه٠لَمَا تَخَيَّرÙوۡنَ‌ۚ†﴿۳۸﴾
That ye shall indeed have all that ye choose? ﴾38﴿
اَمۡ لَـكÙÙ…Û¡ اَيۡمَانٌ عَلَيۡنَا Ø¨ÙŽØ§Ù„ÙØºÙŽØ©ÙŒ اÙلٰى يَوۡم٠الۡقÙيٰمَةÙ‌ۙ اÙنَّ لَـكÙÙ…Û¡ لَمَا تَØÛ¡ÙƒÙÙ…Ùوۡنَ‌ۚ†﴿۳۹﴾
Or have ye a covenant on oath from Us that reacheth to the Day of Judgment, that yours shall be all that ye ordain? ﴾39﴿
سَلۡهÙÙ…Û¡ اَيّÙÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ Ø¨ÙØ°Ù°Ù„ÙÙƒÙŽ زَعÙيۡمٌۚ ۛ†﴿۴۰﴾
Ask them (O Muhammad) which of them will vouch for that! ﴾40﴿
اَمۡ Ù„ÙŽÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ Ø´ÙØ±ÙŽÙƒÙŽØ§Ù“ء٠  ۛۚ ÙَلۡيَاۡتÙوۡا Ø¨ÙØ´ÙرَكَآٮٕÙÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ اÙÙ†Û¡ كَانÙوۡا صٰدÙÙ‚Ùيۡنَ†﴿۴۱﴾
Or have they other gods? Then let them bring their other gods if they are truthful ﴾41﴿
ÙŠÙŽÙˆÛ¡Ù…ÙŽ ÙŠÙÙƒÛ¡Ø´ÙŽÙ٠عَنۡ Ø³ÙŽØ§Ù‚Ù ÙˆÙ‘ÙŽÙŠÙØ¯Û¡Ø¹ÙŽÙˆÛ¡Ù†ÙŽ Ø§ÙÙ„ÙŽÙ‰ Ø§Ù„Ø³Ù‘ÙØ¬Ùوۡد٠Ùَلَا يَسۡتَطÙيۡعÙوۡنَۙ†﴿۴۲﴾
On the day when it befalleth in earnest, and they are ordered to prostrate themselves but are not able, ﴾42﴿
Ø®ÙŽØ§Ø´ÙØ¹ÙŽØ©Ù‹ اَبۡصَارÙÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ تَرۡهَقÙÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ ذÙلَّةٌ   ؕ وَّقَدۡ كَانÙوۡا ÙŠÙØ¯Û¡Ø¹ÙŽÙˆÛ¡Ù†ÙŽ Ø§ÙÙ„ÙŽÙ‰ Ø§Ù„Ø³Ù‘ÙØ¬Ùوۡد٠وَهÙÙ…Û¡ سَالÙÙ…Ùوۡنَ†﴿۴۳﴾
With eyes downcast, abasement stupefying them. And they had been summoned to prostrate themselves while they were yet unhurt. ﴾43﴿
ÙَذَرۡنÙÙ‰Û¡ ÙˆÙŽÙ…ÙŽÙ†Û¡ يّÙÙƒÙŽØ°Ù‘ÙØ¨Ù بÙهٰذَا الۡØÙŽÙ€Ø¯ÙÙŠÛ¡Ø«Ù‌ؕ Ø³ÙŽÙ†ÙŽØ³Û¡ØªÙŽØ¯Û¡Ø±ÙØ¬ÙÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ مّÙÙ†Û¡ ØÙŽÙŠÛ¡Ø«Ù لَا يَعۡلَمÙوۡنَۙ†﴿۴۴﴾
Leave Me (to deal) with those who give the lie to this pronouncement. We shall lead them on by steps from whence they know not. ﴾44﴿
وَاÙÙ…Û¡Ù„ÙÙ‰Û¡ Ù„ÙŽÙ‡Ùمۡ‌ؕ اÙنَّ كَيۡدÙÙ‰Û¡ مَتÙيۡنٌ†﴿۴۵﴾
Yet I bear with them, for lo! My scheme is firm. ﴾45﴿
اَمۡ تَسۡـَٔـلÙÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ اَجۡرًا ÙÙŽÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ مّÙÙ†Û¡ Ù…Ù‘ÙŽØºÛ¡Ø±ÙŽÙ…Ù Ù…Ù‘ÙØ«Û¡Ù‚ÙŽÙ„Ùوۡنَ‌ۚ†﴿۴۶﴾
Or dost thou (Muhammad) ask a fee from them so that they are heavily taxed? ﴾46﴿
اَمۡ عÙنۡدَهÙم٠الۡغَيۡب٠ÙÙŽÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ ÙŠÙŽÙƒÛ¡ØªÙØ¨Ùوۡنَ†﴿۴۷﴾
Or is the Unseen theirs that they can write (thereof)? ﴾47﴿
ÙÙŽØ§ØµÛ¡Ø¨ÙØ±Û¡ Ù„ÙØÙكۡم٠رَبّÙÙƒÙŽ وَلَا تَكÙÙ†Û¡ كَصَاØÙب٠الۡØÙوۡتÙ‌ۘ Ø§ÙØ°Û¡ نَادٰى ÙˆÙŽÙ‡ÙÙˆÙŽ مَكۡظÙوۡمٌؕ†﴿۴۸﴾
But wait thou for thy Lord's decree, and be not like him of the fish, who cried out in despair. ﴾48﴿
لَوۡلَاۤ اَنۡ تَدٰرَكَهٗ Ù†ÙØ¹Û¡Ù…َةٌ مّÙÙ†Û¡ رَّبّÙهٖ Ù„ÙŽÙ†ÙØ¨Ùذَ Ø¨ÙØ§Ù„ۡعَرَآء٠وَهÙÙˆÙŽ مَذۡمÙوۡمٌ†﴿۴۹﴾
Had it not been that favour from his Lord had reached him he surely had been cast into the wilderness while he was reprobate. ﴾49﴿
Ùَاجۡتَبٰه٠رَبّÙهٗ Ùَجَعَلَهٗ Ù…ÙÙ†ÙŽ Ø§Ù„ØµÙ‘Ù°Ù„ÙØÙيۡنَ†﴿۵۰﴾
But his Lord chose him and placed him among the righteous. ﴾50﴿
وَاÙÙ†Û¡ يَّكَاد٠الَّذÙÙŠÛ¡Ù†ÙŽ ÙƒÙŽÙَرÙوۡا Ù„ÙŽÙŠÙØ²Û¡Ù„ÙÙ‚ÙÙˆÛ¡Ù†ÙŽÙƒÙŽ Ø¨ÙØ§ÙŽØ¨Û¡ØµÙŽØ§Ø±ÙÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ لَمَّا Ø³ÙŽÙ…ÙØ¹Ùوۡا الذّÙكۡرَ ÙˆÙŽÙŠÙŽÙ‚ÙÙˆÛ¡Ù„ÙÙˆÛ¡Ù†ÙŽ اÙنَّهٗ لَمَجۡنÙوۡنٌ‌ۘ†﴿۵۱﴾
And lo! those who disbelieve would fain disconcert thee with their eyes when they hear the Reminder, and they say: Lo! he is indeed mad; ﴾51﴿
وَمَا Ù‡ÙÙˆÙŽ اÙلَّا ذÙكۡرٌ لّÙلۡعٰلَمÙيۡنَ†﴿۵۲﴾
When it is naught else than a Reminder to creation. ﴾52﴿
