وَالۡمُرۡسَلٰتِ عُرۡفًاۙ‏ ﴿۱﴾

By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another ﴾1﴿

فَالۡعٰصِفٰتِ عَصۡفًاۙ‏ ﴿۲﴾

By the raging hurricanes, ﴾2﴿

وَّالنّٰشِرٰتِ نَشۡرًاۙ‏ ﴿۳﴾

By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; ﴾3﴿

فَالۡفٰرِقٰتِ فَرۡقًاۙ‏ ﴿۴﴾

By those who winnow with a winnowing, ﴾4﴿

فَالۡمُلۡقِيٰتِ ذِكۡرًاۙ‏ ﴿۵﴾

By those who bring down the Reminder, ﴾5﴿

عُذۡرًا اَوۡ نُذۡرًاۙ‏ ﴿۶﴾

To excuse or to warn, ﴾6﴿

اِنَّمَا تُوۡعَدُوۡنَ لٰوقِعٌؕ‏ ﴿۷﴾

Surely that which ye are promised will befall. ﴾7﴿

فَاِذَا النُّجُوۡمُ طُمِسَتۡۙ‏ ﴿۸﴾

So when the stars are put out, ﴾8﴿

ÙˆÙŽ اِذَا السَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتۡۙ‏ ﴿۹﴾

And when the sky is riven asunder, ﴾9﴿

وَاِذَا الۡجِبَالُ نُسِفَتۡۙ‏ ﴿۱۰﴾

And when the mountains are blown away, ﴾10﴿

وَاِذَا الرُّسُلُ اُقِّتَتۡؕ‏ ﴿۱۱﴾

And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - ﴾11﴿

لِاَىِّ يَوۡمٍ اُجِّلَتۡؕ‏ ﴿۱۲﴾

For what day is the time appointed? ﴾12﴿

لِيَوۡمِ الۡفَصۡلِ‌ۚ‏ ﴿۱۳﴾

For the Day of Decision. ﴾13﴿

وَمَاۤ اَدۡرٰٮكَ مَا يَوۡمُ الۡفَصۡلِؕ‏ ﴿۱۴﴾

And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - ﴾14﴿

ÙˆÙŽÙŠÛ¡Ù„ÙŒ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ‏ ﴿۱۵﴾

Woe unto the repudiators on that day! ﴾15﴿

اَلَمۡ نُهۡلِكِ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَؕ‏ ﴿۱۶﴾

Destroyed We not the former folk, ﴾16﴿

ثُمَّ نُتۡبِعُهُمُ الۡاٰخِرِيۡنَ‏ ﴿۱۷﴾

Then caused the latter folk to follow after? ﴾17﴿

كَذٰلِكَ نَفۡعَلُ بِالۡمُجۡرِمِيۡنَ‏ ﴿۱۸﴾

Thus deal We ever with the guilty. ﴾18﴿

ÙˆÙŽÙŠÛ¡Ù„ÙŒ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ‏ ﴿۱۹﴾

Woe unto the repudiators on that day! ﴾19﴿

اَلَمۡ نَخۡلُقكُّمۡ مِّنۡ مَّآءٍ مَّهِيۡنٍۙ‏ ﴿۲۰﴾

Did We not create you from a base fluid ﴾20﴿

فَجَعَلۡنٰهُ فِىۡ قَرَارٍ مَّكِيۡنٍۙ‏ ﴿۲۱﴾

Which We laid up in a safe abode ﴾21﴿

اِلٰى قَدَرٍ مَّعۡلُوۡمٍۙ‏ ﴿۲۲﴾

For a known term? ﴾22﴿

فَقَدَرۡنَا    ۖ فَنِعۡمَ الۡقٰدِرُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۲۳﴾

Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! ﴾23﴿

ÙˆÙŽÙŠÛ¡Ù„ÙŒ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ‏ ﴿۲۴﴾

Woe unto the repudiators on that day! ﴾24﴿

اَلَمۡ نَجۡعَلِ الۡاَرۡضَ كِفَاتًاۙ‏ ﴿۲۵﴾

Have We not made the earth a receptacle ﴾25﴿

اَحۡيَآءً وَّاَمۡوَاتًاۙ‏ ﴿۲۶﴾

Both for the living and the dead, ﴾26﴿

وَّجَعَلۡنَا فِيۡهَا رَاوسِىَ شٰمِخٰتٍ وَّ اَسۡقَيۡنٰكُمۡ مَّآءً فُرَاتًاؕ‏ ﴿۲۷﴾

And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? ﴾27﴿

ÙˆÙŽÙŠÛ¡Ù„ÙŒ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ‏ ﴿۲۸﴾

Woe unto the repudiators on that day! ﴾28﴿

اِنْطَلِقُوۡۤا اِلٰى مَا كُنۡتُمۡ بِهٖ تُكَذِّبُوۡنَ‌ۚ‏ ﴿۲۹﴾

(It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; ﴾29﴿

اِنْطَلِقُوۡۤا اِلٰى ظِلٍّ ذِىۡ ثَلٰثِ شُعَبٍۙ‏ ﴿۳۰﴾

Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, ﴾30﴿

لَّا ظَلِيۡلٍ وَّلَا يُغۡنِىۡ مِنَ اللَّهَبِؕ‏ ﴿۳۱﴾

(Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. ﴾31﴿

اِنَّهَا تَرۡمِىۡ بِشَرَرٍ كَالۡقَصۡرِ‌ۚ‏ ﴿۳۲﴾

Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, ﴾32﴿

كَاَنَّهٗ جِمٰلَتٌ صُفۡرٌؕ‏ ﴿۳۳﴾

(Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. ﴾33﴿

ÙˆÙŽÙŠÛ¡Ù„ÙŒ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ‏ ﴿۳۴﴾

Woe unto the repudiators on that day! ﴾34﴿

هٰذَا يَوۡمُ لَا يَنۡطِقُوۡنَۙ‏ ﴿۳۵﴾

This is a day wherein they speak not, ﴾35﴿

وَلَا يُؤۡذَنُ لَهُمۡ فَيَعۡتَذِرُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۳۶﴾

Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. ﴾36﴿

ÙˆÙŽÙŠÛ¡Ù„ÙŒ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ‏ ﴿۳۷﴾

Woe unto the repudiators on that day! ﴾37﴿

هٰذَا يَوۡمُ الۡفَصۡلِ‌ۚ جَمَعۡنٰكُمۡ وَالۡاَوَّلِيۡنَ‏ ﴿۳۸﴾

This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. ﴾38﴿

فَاِنۡ كَانَ لَـكُمۡ كَيۡدٌ فَكِيۡدُوۡنِ‏ ﴿۳۹﴾

If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. ﴾39﴿

ÙˆÙŽÙŠÛ¡Ù„ÙŒ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ‏ ﴿۴۰﴾

Woe unto the repudiators on that day! ﴾40﴿

اِنَّ الۡمُتَّقِيۡنَ فِىۡ ظِلٰلٍ وَّعُيُوۡنٍۙ‏ ﴿۴۱﴾

Lo! those who kept their duty are amid shade and fountains, ﴾41﴿

وَّفَوَاكِهَ مِمَّا يَشۡتَهُوۡنَؕ‏ ﴿۴۲﴾

And fruits such as they desire. ﴾42﴿

كُلُوۡا وَاشۡرَبُوۡا هَنِيْٓئًاۢ بِمَا كُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۴۳﴾

(Unto them it is said:) Eat, drink and welcome, O ye blessed, in return for what ye did. ﴾43﴿

اِنَّا كَذٰلِكَ نَجۡزِىۡ الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ‏ ﴿۴۴﴾

Thus do We reward the good. ﴾44﴿

ÙˆÙŽÙŠÛ¡Ù„ÙŒ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ‏ ﴿۴۵﴾

Woe unto the repudiators on that day! ﴾45﴿

كُلُوۡا وَتَمَتَّعُوۡا قَلِيۡلاً اِنَّكُمۡ مُّجۡرِمُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۴۶﴾

Eat and take your ease (on earth) a little. Lo! ye are guilty. ﴾46﴿

ÙˆÙŽÙŠÛ¡Ù„ÙŒ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ‏ ﴿۴۷﴾

Woe unto the repudiators on that day! ﴾47﴿

وَاِذَا قِيۡلَ لَهُمُ ارۡكَعُوۡا لَا يَرۡكَعُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۴۸﴾

When it is said unto them: Bow down, they bow not down! ﴾48﴿

ÙˆÙŽÙŠÛ¡Ù„ÙŒ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ‏ ﴿۴۹﴾

Woe unto the repudiators on that day! ﴾49﴿

فَبِاَىِّ حَدِيۡثٍۢ بَعۡدَهٗ يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۵۰﴾

In what statement, after this, will they believe? ﴾50﴿
