do ghaDi khel liye gardish-e-ayyam ke sath

tishna-lab rahne pe bhi sakh to thi shan to thi

waz-e-rindana gai ek talab-e-jam ke sath

jab se hangam-e-safar ashkon ke tare chamke

talKHiyan ho gain wabasta har ek sham ke sath

ab na wo shorish-e-raftar na wo josh-e-junun

hum kahan phans gae yaran-e-subuk-gam ke sath

uD chuki hain sitam-araon ki ninden aksar
