عجیب خوف کا موسم ہے ان دنوں عمرانؔ
یہ جو آباد ہونے جا رہے ہیں
اس کا بدن بھی چاہئے اور دل بھی چاہئے
پیام لے کے ہوا دور تک نہیں جاتی
موسم گل ہے ترے سرخ دہن کی حد تک
کوئی تو ہے جو آہوں میں اثر آنے نہیں دیتا
ہم نہ دنیا کے ہیں نہ دیں کے ہیں
اپنے لہو میں زہر بھی خود گھولتا ہوں میں
اپنے حصے میں ہی آنے تھے خسارے سارے
