waqt ab sar pe wo aaya hai ki sar yaad nahin
tere diwanon ko bhi ab tera dar yaad nahin
hae wo shab jo tere wada-e-shab mein guzri
hae wo shab hai ki jis shab ki sahar yaad nahin
zindagi kaise kaTi dawar-e-mahshar ye na puchh
wo safar yaad to hai raKHt-e-safar yaad nahin
mere aamal pe jae to ye samjhunga tujhe
yaad hai daman-e-tar dida-e-tar yaad nahin
pyar se ab bhi wo takte hain mujhe par un ko
jis ne dil luT liya tha wo nazar yaad nahin
umr-bhar tham ke us shoKH ka daman roe
'soz' kya us pe hua us ka asar yaad nahin
