kya be-murawwati ka shikwa gila kisi se
KHud hum ne kab wafa ki apne siwa kisi se
is hath se wasuli us hath se adai
pahuncha diya kisi ko jo kuchh mila kisi se
malum hai hamein hum kitne paDhe likhe hain
ye sun liya kisi se wo sun liya kisi se
us daur mein kahan ye aazadi-e-amal thi
chori-chhupe hamara tha silsila kisi se
sab ek dusre ki har baat jaante hain
maKHfi nahin kisi ka achchha bura kisi se
tum hi KHulus-e-dil se aa jate ho 'shuur' ab
milta hai kaun warna be-faeda kisi se
