taghayyuraat-e-zamana bhi kya ajab shai hain
jo jaan-nisar tha pahle wo aaj qatil tha
mujhe bhi faqr ki daulat pe faKHr tha yaro
use bhi lal-o-guhar ka ghurur hasil tha
bahut hi sada tabiat tha un dinon 'arshad'
ki jab wo mehr-o-KHulus-o-wafa ka qail tha
