is tarah us ne tawaqqoa pe lagaya hai mujhe
yun to fitrat mein bhi aashufta-mizaji thi meri
asl mein aap ne diwana banaya hai mujhe
parda-dari thi use rabt-e-nihan ki manzur
bazm mein apni bahut dur biThaya hai mujhe
ye mere zoam-e-bulandi ki saza hai shayad
us ne kuchh soch ke nazron se giraya hai mujhe
