meri afsurda-dili gardish-e-ayyam se hai
log kahte hain mohabbat kisi gulfam se hai
chashm-e-saqi ne bhi ye mashwara-e-nek diya
ki ilaj-e-gham-e-dil talKHi-e-bad-nam se hai
chandni-raat mein ye aur chamak uTThega
dard kuchh dil mein siwa aaj sar-e-sham se hai
rang uDaya hai zamane ne jahan se 'masud'
apni nisbat bhi usi yar-e-gul-andam se hai
