mujh se baDh kar hai kahin un ka maqam ai saqi
mast rahte hain jo be-baada-o-jam ai saqi
qatre qatre ko phiren tere subu-kash lachaar
hai ye kis ke liye ghairat ka maqam ai saqi
marhamat se teri ho jaen na mai-kash bad-dil
sang-dil hai teri mahfil ka nizam ai saqi
'zeb' bhi arz-e-haqiqat mein hai aksar mohtat
ahl-e-mahfil mein ye ehsas hai aam ai saqi
