chheDi bhi jo rasm-o-rah ki baat
wo sun na sake nigah ki baat
har-lahza badal rahe hain haalat
mujh se na karo nibah ki baat
kahte hain teri mizha ke tare
KHud meri shab-e-siyah ki baat
ab hai wo nigah na wo tabassum
kuchh aur thi gah gah ki baat
kya yaad na aaega ye anjam
kis dil se karenge chah ki baat
