dil Dubne laga hai tawanai chahiye
kuchh war mujh ko zahr-e-shanasai chahiye
kal tak the mutmain ki musafir hain raat ke
ab raushni mili hai to binai chahe
taufiq hai to wusat-e-sahra bhi dekh len
ye kya ki apne ghar ki hi angnai chahiye
arman tha tumhin ko ki sab sath mein rahen
ab tum hi kah rahe ho ki tanhai chahiye
halki si is jamahi se main mutmain nahin
band-e-qaba ka KHauf kya angDai chahiye
jo log aaine se bahut dur dur the
un ko bhi aaj bazm-e-KHud-arai chahiye
shaistagan-e-shahr mein mat kijiye shumar
mardud-e-KHalq hun mujhe ruswai chahiye
