aaj kyun chup hain tere saudai
hosh aaya unhen ki maut aai
apne arman aap ke wade
in khilaunon se umr bhalai
pine walon ki KHair ho yarab
teri rahmat hui ghaTa chhai
fikr-e-sud-o-ziyan ki nazr hue
wo gham-e-ashiqi wo ruswai
justuju ki hui to yun takmil
zindagi maut ki KHabar lai
'soz' jine ki aarzu mein hum
ban gae maut ke tamannai
