mujh se meri hayat ruTh gai
tum nahin kaenat ruTh gai
wo baDi mushkilon se aai thi
tum na aae to raat ruTh gai
maut ko maut aa gai shayad
ya hamari najat ruTh gai
zindagi gham ka sath de na saki
dafatan be-sabaat ruTh gai
'soz' ishrat mein sath thi duniya
par dam-e-mushkilat ruTh gai
