tabah ho gae barbaad ho ke rah gae hain
ab aur kya ho tamanna-e-wasl ka anjam
dil o dimagh teri yaad ho ke rah gae hain
kahen to qissa-e-ahwal muKHtasar ye hai
hum apne ishq ki rudad ho ke rah gae hain
kisi ki yaad dilon ka qarar Thahri hai
kisi ke zikr se dil shad ho ke rah gae hain
tere huzur jo rashk-e-bahaar the 'ajmal'
KHarab-o-KHwar tere baad ho ke rah gae hain
