sunne wale fasana tera hai
sirf tarz-e-bayan hi mera hai
yas ki tirgi ne ghera hai
har taraf haul-nak andhera hai
is mein koi mera sharik nahin
mera dukh aah sirf mera hai
chandni chandni nahin 'aKHtar'
raat ki god mein sawera hai
