ishq se paida nawa-e-zindagi mein zer-o-bam
ishq se miTTi ki taswiron mein soz-e-dam-ba-dam
aadmi ke reshe reshe mein sama jata hai ishq
shaKH-e-gul mein jis tarah baad-e-sahar-gahi ka nam
apne raaziq ko na pahchane to muhtaj-e-muluk
aur pahchane to hain tere gada dara o jam
dil ki aazadi shahanshahi shikam saman-e-maut
faisla tera tere hathon mein hai dil ya shikam
ai musalman apne dil se puchh mulla se na puchh
ho gaya allah ke bandon se kyun KHali haram
