ban ke saya hi sahi sat to hoti hogi
kam se kam tujh mein teri zat to hoti hogi
ye alag baat koi chand ubharta na ho ab
dil ki basti mein magar raat to hoti hogi
dhup mein kaun kise yaad kiya karta hai
par tere shahr mein barsat to hoti hogi
hum to sahra mein hain tum log sunao apni
shahr se roz mulaqat to hoti hogi
kuchh bhi ho jae magar tere taraf-dar hain sab
zindagi tujh mein koi baat to hoti hogi
