ek fitna sa uThaya hai chala jaega
waqt be-waqt jo aaya hai chala jaega
shahr ko sare jalane ke liye nikla tha
ab jo ghar mera jalaya hai chala jaega
baiThna hai to ghane peD ke niche baiTho
ye to diwar ka saya hai chala jaega
hum ko marega kahan shish-mahal mein rah kar
sirf patthar hi uThaya hai chala jaega
wo to aata hai andhere hi mein Dasne ke liye
ab to har samt ujala hai chala jaega
KHud hi thak jaega jab galiyan de kar mujh ko
us pe itna to bharosa hai chala jaega
us ne chup rah ke bhi tufan uThae kitne
aaj kohram machaya hai chala jaega
soch ke aaya tha duniya mein sab apne honge
apna saya bhi paraya hai chala jaega
gham ke aane ka koi gham nahin hum ko 'asghar'
apni marzi hi se aaya hai chala jaega
