hijr ki raat yaad aati hai
phir wahi baat yaad aati hai
tum ne chheDa to kuchh khule hum bhi
baat par baat yaad aati hai
tum the aur hum the chand nikla tha
hae wo raat yaad aati hai
subh ke waqt zarre zarre ki
wo munajat yaad aati hai
hae kya chiz thi jawani bhi
ab to din-raat yaad aati hai
mai se tauba to ki 'aziz' magar
aksar auqat yaad aati hai
