ye tazad-e-jaan-o-jasad jise
tu visal kah le firaq mein
tu nashat kah le miraq mein
tu ruwaq kah le ki bahr-o-bar
main mazaq kah lun ki KHair-o-shar
tere mere kahne mein kuchh nahin
ki tera yaqin mera guman
ki mera guman tera yaqin
tere dark-o-hosh-o-hawas ki
mere wajd-o-wahm-o-qayas ki
yahi ek pal to asas hai
yahi ek pal tere pas hai
yahi ek pal mere pas hai
isi ek pal ko murur hai
isi ek pal ko dawam hai
isi ek pal ko qayam hai
isi ek pal ko salam hai
na hayat azal na ajal abad
yahi pal azal yahi pal abad!
