mujhe bhi ras teri anjuman nahin aai
uDa sa rang hai kyun waqt ke mashihao
abhi to manzil-e-dar-o-rasan nahin aai
taDapta hi raha yaqub dar-e-ahd-e-kuhan
hawa-e-yusuf-e-gul-pairahan nahin aai
sitam-shiar to tha ghair bhi magar us ko
jafa-taraazi-e-ahl-e-watan nahin aai
jo dhup ban ke chamak jati dil ke aangan mein
teri nazar ki wo rangin kiran nahin aai
jo pesh-KHema bane inqalab ka ab tak
jabin-e-waqt pe aisi shikan nahin aai
