इक रोज़ जो गुलशन में वो जान-ए-बहार आए
इक रोज़ जो गुलशन में वो जान-ए-बहार आए
कलियों पे शबाब आए फूलों पे निखार आए
नज़रों के तसादुम में थीं ज़ब्त की ताकीदें
क्या जाने समझ कर गया हम दिल को भी हार आए
एहसास-ए-तकब्बुर में हद से न गुज़र जाएँ
शायद इसी मतलब से फूलों में भी ख़ार आए
तौबा के तक़द्दुस का क़ाइल तो हूँ मैं लेकिन
पैमाना बढ़ा देना जब अब्र-ए-बहार आए
अच्छा हुआ 'हामिद' का दुनिया से गुज़र जाना
इक बोझ था जो सर से अहबाब उतार आए
