wo nigah jab mujhe pukarti thi
dil ki hairaniyan ubhaarti thi
apni nadida ungliyon ke sath
mere baalon ko wo sanwarti thi
roz main us ko jit jata tha
aur wo roz KHud ko haarti thi
pattiyan muskurane lagti thin
shaKH se phul jab utarti thi
jin dinon main use pukarta tha
ek duniya mujhe pukarti thi
sehn mein chhanw thi daraKHton ki
jo meri shairi nikhaarti thi
bargahon mein ghusl-e-girya se
ruh apni thakan utarti thi
ek lagan thi chubhan thi jo bhi thi
roz sine mein din guzarti thi
