dil kahe jaane ke qabil dil na tha
hae un majburiyon ko kya karun
main bhi KHud fariyaad ke qabil na tha
bhik rakh lo jo duaen de gaya
wo faqir-e-ishq tha sail na tha
o luTane wale gul-ha-e-karam
sab ka dil tha kya hamara dil na tha
jaan buri mushkil bhi hum ko ai 'iram'
wo bacha lete to kuchh mushkil na tha
