dekha jo husn-e-yar tabiat machal gai
aankhon ka tha qusur chhuri dil pe chal gai
hum tum mile na the to judai ka tha malal
ab ye malal hai ki tamanna nikal gai
saqi teri sharab jo shishe mein thi paDi
saghar mein aa ke aur bhi sanche mein Dhal gai
dushman se phir gai nigah-e-yar shukr hai
ek phans thi ki dil se hamare nikal gai
pine se kar chuka tha main tauba magar 'jalil'
baadal ka rang dekh ke niyat badal gai
