sawera ho bhi chuka aur raat baqi hai
zarur dil mein abhi koi baat baqi hai
ye log kis qadar aaram se hain baiThe hue
agarche hone ko ek wardat baqi hai
kuchh aur zaKHm-e-mohabbat mein baDh gai hai kasak
ye soch kar ki abhi to hayat baqi hai
ye gham juda hai bahut jald-baz the hum tum
ye dukh alag hai abhi kaenat baqi hai
jo meri teri mulaqat ka sabab tha kabhi
wo lamha tere bichhaDne ke sath baqi hai
tamam beDiyan to kaT Dali hain lekin
'jamal' qaid-e-nafs se najat baqi hai
