KHub hai shauq ka ye pahlu bhi
main bhi barbaad ho gaya tu bhi
husn-e-maghmum tamkanat mein teri
farq aaya na yak-sar-e-mu bhi
ye na socha tha zer-e-saya-e-zulf
ki bichhaD jaegi ye KHush-bu bhi
husn kahta tha chheDne wale
chheDna hi to bas nahin chhu bhi
hae wo us ka mauj-KHez badan
main to pyasa raha lab-e-ju bhi
yaad aate hain moajize apne
aur us ke badan ka jadu bhi
yasmin us ki KHas mahram-e-raaz
yaad aaya karegi ab tu bhi
yaad se us ki hai mera parhez
ai saba ab na aaiyo tu bhi
hain yahi 'jaun-elia' jo kabhi
saKHt maghrur bhi the bad-KHu bhi
