yun hi sar chaDh ke har ek mauj-e-bala bolegi
hum jo KHamosh rahenge to hawa bolegi
bolta rahta hai jo aaj sar-e-shaKH-e-ana
chup si lag jaegi jis roz fana bolegi
tujh se ummid kise hai meri laila-e-hayat
mahmil-e-naz se kya chashm-e-ata bolegi
wo to rahta hai yunhi apne gulistan mein gum
lab-e-KHamosh se kya barg-e-hina bolegi
mausam-e-nara-e-bulbul bhi kabhi aaega
is se mayus na ho KHalq-e-KHuda bolegi
