fughan ke sath tere rahat-e-qarar chale
nawa-garan-e-wafa himmaton ko haar chale
ye kya ki phul khile aur zaKHm risne lage
mile sukun bhi agar baad-e-nau-bahaar chale
ye multafit si nigahen farogh-e-jam ke sath
chale ye daur chale aur bar-bar chale
hazar barhami-e-zulf-e-yar bhi dekhi
tujhe to kakul-e-giti magar sanwar chale
KHayal-o-ilm ka bhi mol-tol hota hai
hamare ahd mein kya kya na karobar chale
hayat sath chali kaenat sath chali
ajib shan se kuchh log su-e-dar chale
wahi to the kabhi chashm-o-charag-e-mahfil-e-gham
jo be-qarar se uTThe jo ashk-bar chale
thake thake se qadam aur tawil rah-e-hayat
musafiran-e-adam bojh sa utar chale
zamin-e-faiz sitare luTa rahi hai 'nazar'
ye kya ki aap yahan se bhi sogwar chale
