गिरोगे आसमाँ से जब ज़मीं ही काम आएगी
यहाँ से मत उठा बिस्तर कि इस सफ़्फ़ाक आँधी में
ये टूटी फूटी दीवार-ए-यक़ीं ही काम आएगी
उठा रक्खा था सहरा सर पे तुम ने कौन मानेगा
झटकना मत कि ये गर्द-ए-जबीं ही काम आएगी
वो दिन आएगा जब सारे समुंदर सूख जाएँगे
मियाँ अंदर की जू-ए-आतशीं ही काम आएगी
कोई आँखों के शोले पोंछने वाला नहीं होगा
'ज़फ़र' साहब ये गीली आस्तीं ही काम आएगी
