| Description | There are three colleges in the same building Government Islamia College i.e Government Islamia Science College (Morning Shift) & Govt. Islamia Islamia Arts & Commerce College & Post Graduate Studies Centre (Evening Shift) is one of the biggest educational institutes of upper Sindh, Pakistan. The College was established in 1956. The college was shifted to the new building in 1962 and was nationalized in 1956. The college was bifurcated into two independent and separate colleges having separate establishment, teaching and administrative staff, in 1973 as Govt: Islamia Science college and Govt: Islamia Arts/Commerce College. Government Islamia Science/Arts/Commerce College consists of Intermediate, Degree Section and BS (CS). Govt: Islamia Science College and Govt: Islamia Arts/Commerce College and Post Graduate Studies Centre are housed in the same building. The Science College functions in the morning while the Arts/Commerce College serves in the evening. |
