sab ki aaankhon mein jo samaya tha
kaun tha wo kahan se aaya tha
kis ne ki aaj pursish-e-ahwal
koi apna tha ya paraya tha
miT gae hum to ye hua malum
bhul kar koi muskuraya tha
ek lazzat thi KHud-farebi mein
warna kis ne fareb khaya tha
aa gain yaad phir wahi baaten
kal ba-mushkil jinhen bhulaya tha
sab the aaseb-e-bazm ke mare
hum pe tanhaiyon ka saya tha
umr guzri 'sahar' mohabbat mein
hum ne dil kuchh ajib paya tha
