kaha tha kis ne ki ahd-e-wafa karo us se
jo yun kiya hai to phir kyun gila karo us se
nasib phir koi taqrib-e-qurb ho ki na ho
jo dil mein hon wahi baaten kaha karo us se
ye ahl-e-bazm tunuk-hausla sahi phir bhi
zara fasana-e-dil ibtida karo us se
ye kya ki tum hi gham-e-hijr ke fasane kaho
kabhi to us ke bahane suna karo us se
'faraaz' tark-e-talluq to KHair kya hoga
yahi bahut hai ki kam kam mila karo us se
