KHud-faramosh jo paya hai mujhe duniya ne
mere hathon se bhi luTa hai mujhe duniya ne
dil to be-dam bika zehn ki qimat na lagi
kaise bazar mein becha hai mujhe duniya ne
waqf-e-jazbaat na hone ki saza di hai ajab
aatish-e-sard mein phunka hai mujhe duniya ne
ham-safar mujh ko banane se gurezan hai magar
har nae moD pe DhunDa hai mujhe duniya ne
be-asar meri futuhat rahi hain 'aKHtar'
main jo haara hun to puja hai mujhe duniya ne
