is tarz-e-zist mein magar aaram the bahut
duniya hai kar-KHana-e-wahm-o-guman tamam
sachche wahi fasane the jo aam the bahut
KHud apne iztirar-e-tabiat se tang the
hum jo shikar-e-gardish-e-ayyam the bahut
lipTi rahi to sar-basar asrar thi wo zulf
khulti kabhi to us ke bhi paigham the bahut
ek umr tajrabaat mein guzri to ye khula
yan aazmuda-kar hi nakaam the bahut
