sun ke mere ishq ki rudad ko
log bhule qais ko farhad ko
ai nigah-e-yas ho tera bura
tu ne taDpa hi diya jallad ko
baad mere uTh gai qadr-e-sitam
ab taraste hain hasin bedad ko
ek zara jhuTi tasalli hi sahi
kuchh to samjha do dil-e-nashad ko
hae ye dard-e-jigar kis se kahun
kaun sunta hai meri fariyaad ko
jaenge duniya se sab kuchh chhoD kar
han magar le kar kisi ki yaad ko
ab mujhe manen na manen ai 'hafiz'
mante hain sab mere ustad ko
