aashna kab ho hai ye zikr dil-e-shad ke sath
lab ko nisbat hai mere zamzama-e-dad ke sath
bas ki hai chashm-e-murawwat se bhara girya-zar
paDa phirta hai mere nala-o-fariyaad ke sath
yaad us lutf-e-huzuri ka karen kya hasil
aa paDa kaam faqat ab to teri yaad ke sath
zulm hai haq mein hamare tera ab tark-e-sitam
dil ko hai uns sa ek us teri bedad ke sath
zulf o kakul se qawi husn ka bazu hai mudam
qafas o dam rahe jaise ki sayyaad ke sath
KHun-e-nahaq raha parwez ki gardan pe wale
lutf-e-shirin ne sitam ye kiya farhad ke sath
rasti se bhala itna bhi guzarna kya hai
nisbat is qad ko na do sarw ke shamshad ke sath
dast o pa kar ke main gum nikla dabe-panw kya
mila wo tifl mujhe raat jo ustad ke sath
'hasrat' itna jo tu mail hai giraftari ka
kuchh adawat hai tujhe KHatir-e-azad ke sath
